The woman behind Endeavor’s portfolio of brands is stepping into the spotlight as the subject of an upcoming Starz docuseries.
Bozoma: Being Badass will follow Bozoma Saint John as she explores the issues and topics that impacted her personal and professional journey. Each episode is expected to feature Saint John interviewing people who have been through the experiences she discusses, like losing her husband to cancer.
Filming on the series is expected to begin in early 2019. Alex Lowry (Anthony Bourdain: Parks Unknown) will executive produce alongside Saint John and Anjula Acharia. Endeavor Content, the production arm of WME owner Endeavor, is not involved in the project.
Saint John, 41, joined Endeavor in June to help it define its portfolio of brands, from Miss Universe to UFC. She had previously served as chief brand officer at Uber and was instrumental in its image revamp following a series of reports about the company’s unhealthy corporate culture. Prior to Uber, Saint John oversaw consumer marketing for Apple Music and iTunes and rose to fame after she participated in a keynote at Apple’s World Wide Developers Conference.
Bozoma: Being Badass will join a Starz lineup that includes dramas Outlander, American Gods, Sweetbitter and football docuseries Warriors of Liberty City.
