2020 Michigan IT Symposium - November 10-12, 2020 - Innovative Solutions to Support the University Mission

The 2020 Michigan IT Symposium was held virtually November 10–12, 2020 with the theme "Innovative solutions to support the university mission." The event was highlighted with a keynote fireside chat between Zoom CEO Eric Yuan and U-M VPIT-CIO Ravi Pendse, 18 fascinating breakout sessions, and 44 posters submitted by IT professionals from across the Michigan IT community.

The Michigan IT Symposium is an annual event that serves to help create connections between community members, while showcasing the innovation occurring across all of the U-M campuses. The event is open to all University of Michigan IT and technology professionals and advocates and includes multiple types of interactions, including plenary and breakout events.

The IT Symposium is sponsored by the office of the VPIT-CIO. The symposium is one of several activities organized by the Michigan IT Steering Committee to build community and encourage collaboration among U-M’s 2,700 IT professionals.
