Each year, UMHEF invites students to apply for chances at more than $2 million in scholarships awarded by UMHEF every year.

If you applied for a UMHEF scholarship, thank you! We are currently processing applications and supporting documents. So, what happens next?

• By mid-June, all applicants will be notified via email or mail about the status of their application, whether or not they are awarded a scholarship.
• Please do not contact us about the status of your scholarship unless you have not heard from us by June 15.
• If you are awarded a scholarship, please carefully read instructions about how to claim your award. This will include a Verification of Enrollment (VOE) form, which will be due October 1.
• Awarded scholarship funds will be sent directly to your school by mid-November, after we finish processing VOEs.

• United Methodist Dollars for Scholars Application – Only open to students attending Andrew College or Louisburg College; deadline June 1 (print and mail application)
• Chaplain Samuel Grover Powell Scholarship – Deadline: July 1, 2024
