This is the registration for the 2024 Spring Diversity Grand Rounds sponsored by the Tulane University School of Medicine Office of Multicultural Affairs. We will be hosting Dr. Jeffrey Ring,
a health psychologist, leadership coach and educator and
advocate for health justice and equity. For 20 years he served at
the Director of Behavioral Sciences and Cultural Medicine at the Family
Medicine Residency Program at White Memorial in East Los Angeles. He is
the first author of the book, Curriculum for Culturally Responsive Health Care:
The Step-by-Step Guide for Cultural Competency Training. In 2023 he was
awarded the Susan McDaniel Distinguished Career Award from the Society of
Teachers of Family Medicine. He will be presenting on "Dismantling
Healthcare Racism with Courage and Vitality."
This will take place on February 29, 2024 from 12-1 pm in Hutchinson Auditorium. Lunch will be provided, so please fill out the registration below and provide any dietary restriction information.
