The Weekly Update #4
January 23rd, 2023
Nominations Due March 1, 2023!
Each year ESD 105 has the privilege of recognizing two individuals from throughout our region to serve as our Regional Teacher of the Year and our Regional Classified Employee of the Year. Our regional winners advance to OSPI's state recognition program where one individual from each category is selected to advance to the national competition.
Anyone can make a nomination for our regional awards including peers, school/district administrators, students and community members! Once nominations have been received, the nominee will be sent an email notification of their nomination. If they accept this nomination, they will be asked to complete a written application, answer a series of essay questions and gain approval from their principal.
A committee consisting of ESD 105 employees, community members and local lawmakers will evaluate all completed and approved nomination packets to determine our regional winners.
Read on to learn more about each of these categories & for links to nominate excellent educators. If you have any questions, please contact our regional award coordinator, Brittany Kaple at brittany.kaple@esd105.org
