Country music singer Drake White is holding a “Benefit for The Brain” charity concert on Aug. 28 at the Ryman Auditorium.

White will be joined by Riley Green, Randy Houser, and Jamey Johnson on stage to perform, raising awareness and funds for mental and brain health.

“We’re bridging the gap between public perception and public knowledge,” says White.

The proceeds from this one-night-only charity concert will go to military members, child brain health, and research into alternative brain and stroke treatments.

“I’m gonna tell some truths on there about what I’ve been through and hopefully help some people find it and raise some money for those great three organizations,” says White.

White survived a stroke onstage in 2019 and had to relearn how to do almost everything, including how to walk.

The singer hopes to bring attention to this important cause, especially through his music.

“I’m looking forward to bringing the spiritual kind of awakening of people helping people and showing how we can battle this mental health crisis in this country and in this world,” says White.

White hopes to make this concert a yearly tradition.
