Since his breakout album back in 2007, I'll Stay Me, Luke Bryan has become a staple in country music. He's released seven studio albums (including his newest, Born Here Live Here Die Here), had 25 #1 singles on the country charts, and of course, he now appears as one of three judges on ABC's reboot of American Idol, alongside Katy Perry and Lionel Richie.

Naturally, the “One Margarita” singer has a fitness routine to keep up. He shared some of his regimen during a recent chat with Men’s Health for the latest installment of Vs. the Internet. Bryan discussed the craziest workout he ever did and why he's convinced country music makes people cry.

Oh—and like his current single says, he also has the secret to making the perfect margarita, which involves exactly three ingredients. Read on the find out more:

On his craziest workout.

“Yes, I cannot do that workout everyday. Still to this day, that was probably the worst workout I’ve ever done. Yeah, I was whooped. I hadn’t done that workout since, but since quarantine, I might need it.”

On his love of cycling.

“About five years ago, I picked up cycling. I used to jog, and when I would run 4, 5 miles a day and then do a show, it would get pretty rough on my knees. I started cycling and it changed my life.”

On country music making people cry.

"That’s the beauty of country music. Putting something out there that really makes people think and reflect and show emotions. Nothing heals better than a good cry and letting things out."

On trying to create the largest slip-n-slide.

“That is my attempt to build the world’s largest slip-n-slide. This was a slip-n-slide that I built for [my son] Tate’s birthday party and we did not put on a big enough slope where we could really slide, so we decided to hook ourselves to a four-wheeler and pull us down the hill. Yeah, this image definitely makes me country.”

On having his family star in the "One Margarita" music video.

“What a special moment in the ‘One Margarita’ video to have my wife and mother out there, having fun. When the lights and the cameras come on, she knows how to ham it up... I guess that’s where I got all of it from.”

His secret margarita recipe:

4oz. tequila

2oz. Grand Marnier
