Join fellow alumni for an Alumni in Retail & Fashion Industry Network conversation featuring fashion designer Nour Hammour, GWSB BBA '08, as she discusses her career and engages in conversation with TV correspondent and writer Sydney Sadick, SMPA BA '16. 

The discussion will be introduced by alumna Sarah Vreeland, CCAS BA '07, founder and principle of Katilu and chair of the Retail & Fashion Industry Leadership Council. The conversation will be followed by a brief Q&A session with the panelists. 

This event is open to all GW alumni and members of the Class of 2021.

Panelists

Nour Hammour, GWSB BBA '08, is co-founder of the eponymous luxury outerwear brand, Nour Hammour. Growing up between the United States, Paris, and her home country, Lebanon, Nour realized that there was a need on the market for fashion forward, effortlessly cool outerwear. After graduating from the GW School of Business in 2008 with a degree in marketing and communications, she worked alongside the famed couturier Elie Saab, assisting the director of Haute Couture. She went on to study Luxury Brand Management at the Istituto Marangoni in Paris where she met California native Erin Webb. Together, they launched their brand in 2013, as a "made to order" leather jacket business from her parent's Parisian apartment. Over the years, Nour Hammour has been featured in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Vanity Fair and l'Officiel, dresses the most sought-after celebrities and is now sold in over 70 stockists worldwide.

Sydney Sadick, SMPA BA '16, is a national broadcast contributor concentrating on fashion and entertainment. She is regularly seen on TODAY's Hoda & Jenna, E! Daily Pop, Inside Edition, ABC's Good Morning Washington, and more. She is the host of the first-ever Instagram Live talk show called Lunchtime with Sydney, featuring over 200 guests such as Tiger King's Carole Baskin, Morning Joe's Mika Brzezinski, shoe mogul Steve Madden and entrepreneur Marie Forleo. She hosts a weekly spin-off for TMRWxTODAY, presented by the Today Show. Sydney penned the book "Aim High: How to Style Your Life & Achieve Your Goals," released in September 2020. She is a former editor at the Daily Front Row.
