NJ SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) is New Jersey’s food assistance program to help you buy the groceries to eat and be healthy. Even if it is only for a few months, NJ SNAP can help you feed your family.
Representatives are available to answer your questions about SNAP and help you with your application.
To make the application process quicker and easier, bring with you, as applicable:
- Proof of income
- Child or adult care expenses
- Proof of address
- Medical expenses (if age 60+ or have a disability)
- Cost of rent and utilities
