A Dreamcatcher Is A Wish Your Heart Makes: Former Cold River VP/Promotion Jim Dandy and 19th & Grand promotion staffers Kellie Longworth, Charlie Dean and Rick Young have officially joined Dreamcatcher Artists as VP/Promotion, Dir./National Promotion and Mgr./Regional Promotion, respectively. The label falls under the Dreamcatcher Entertainment Group (DEG) umbrella along with Dreamcatcher Management; Tenille Arts is the first artist signed to the record company arm. Girlilla Marketing will continue to oversee digital marketing efforts for Arts, publicists Craig Campbell and Jill Fritzo remain in those capacities, Carole Ann Mobley stays in an A&R capacity and Dreamcatcher Co-Founder Jim Mazza remains in that post. Dreamcatcher Management’s Debbye Scroggins and Powell Hedley have been upped to Dir./Operations and CEO for DEG, respectively. “Jim Mazza founded this company with Kenny Rogers inspired by the same spirit of independence and excellence,” says Hedley. “Tenille is a world class talent, coupled with a phenomenal team we have built together. We are so excited for what the future will bring for all of us.”

Dandy spent nearly a decade with Cold River before departing in 2019 (CAT 7/8/19) and joined 19th & Grand in an unspecified role the following year. Longworth also served at Cold River prior to its shuttering and has prior stops at Reviver. Dean joined 19th & Grand in January (CAT 1/6) after 17 years with Mercury and prior stops at MCA, Universal Music & Video Distribution, Colfax/Minneapolis and KCMJ/Palm Springs, CA. Young has been with 19th & Grand since 2020 (CAT 8/11/20); the previous year, he retired from Warner after nearly 20 years (CAT 6/28/19). Reach Dandy here, Longworth here, Dean here and Young here.
