Jacqui Spencer Repeats as MW Freshman of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - For the second time in as many weeks, first-year Air Force hurdler Jacqui Spencer was named the Mountain West Women's Freshman of the Week.
Spencer continued to shine in the outdoor hurdles, clocking the seventh-fastest 400-meter hurdles time in Academy history (62.11) during her event debut at the Spank Blasing Invitational in Pueblo last weekend. Finishing second in the meet, Spencer is currently the conference's top-ranked freshman in that event and holds a No. 8 time overall in the Mountain West standings. The Georgetown, Texas, native added a 14.49 (+2.6) finish in the 100-meter hurdles in Pueblo, which is the fastest all-condition time for Air Force this season.
