Lenten Offering
Will you join St. Luke’s Missions in setting aside at least $1.00 per day over 40 days for a special Lenten Offering to support unhoused children and their families through Family Promise, and to help sponsor 90-120 children who are orphans in Zimbabwe through ZOE Empowers? Our goal this Lent is to raise $25,000.

Life Together Groups for Adults
Ongoing groups you can jump into at any time:
Breathing Space: Join this group for an opportunity to sit with Scripture in a new but ancient way through contemplative practices like Lectio Divina, Visio Divina, Imaginative Prayer, and Dwelling in the Word. Bring a Bible, a journal and pen, and an open ear to allow God’s Word to shape your week alongside other St. Lukers on Sundays at 8:00 p.m. on Zoom.
Life Together – Retirees: This online group of retirees meets on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays @ 1:30 p.m. on Zoom to be part of this safe place of acceptance and hospitality where everyone can LEARN God’s story and LIVE their stories together while being connected and cared for, growing spiritually, and being supported to LEAD faith-centered lives.
Morning Edition – All women are invited to join this online group on Wednesdays at 8:15 a.m. This is an ongoing group. Participants can join anytime.
Parenting Together – Join this Life Together group for parents weekly in the Smart Classroom of the Barnes Learning Center (above Founder’s Hall) for fellowship, discussion, and prayer.
Thursday Afternoon Women’s Bible Study – All women are invited to join this group. We meet weekly for discussion and connection following along with the church-wide study. Join us Thursdays at 1:00 p.m. on campus in the Barnes Learning Center, Room 212, or online via Zoom.
Life Together – Thursdays with Friends – Join this intergenerational online group weekly for connection, community, and lively discussions.
Life Together – Couples – Join other couples in your stage of life for fellowship, connection, and lively discussion each Thursday at 6:30 p.m. on Zoom!
Care Ministry Opportunities
Care Visitation Team: Mark your Connection Card or contact the Care Office so a Care Visitation Team member can pray and offer care to you while you go through a surgery, hospitalization, or illness. Know a St. Luker who can no longer come to church? A Care Visitation Team volunteer can visit them on a monthly basis and keep them connected to St. Luke’s. Contact the Care Office for more information.
Support Group for Parents of Children/Teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder: Meet online the second Thursday of each month to share struggles, blessings, resources, and fellowship with other parents. Email the Care Office or call 407.876.4991 ext. 262 for Zoom meeting information.
Hearts to Hands: Love to knit or crochet? Or maybe you want to learn? Join this ministry on Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. in the Barnes Learning Center (second floor of Founder’s Hall) Room 210 and make needed items for Arnold Palmer Hospital while sharing fellowship with others. For those who can’t join in person, you may knit/crochet items for Hearts to Hands from the comfort of your home. Contact the Care Office at 407.876.4991 ext. 262 for patterns and more information.
Stephen Ministry: Going through a difficult time? In need of someone to listen, encourage, and pray with you? Contact the Care Office to be confidentially matched with a trained caring Christian who will listen, pray, and support you through job loss, marital issues, illness, grief, etc. Stephen Ministers are not pastors or counselors. Circles West Orange: Circles West Orange is celebrating 10 years! Six years with St. Luke’s as the Lead Organization and four years as Host Organization partnering with Poverty Solutions Group. To honor this 10 year milestone, we’re looking for 10 St. Lukers to be Allies.
Circles builds community to end poverty and needs volunteers serving on Resource Teams and as Allies. To learn more about the Resource Teams and being a Circle Ally, click on the link below.
Jobs Partnership: St. Luke’s partners with Jobs Partnership, a faith based organization that provides a 12-week, biblically-based, employability program for the chronically under-employed in West Orange County. Spring 2024 Classes begin February 20 at 4 locations. Training for Coaches takes place on Saturday, February 10. We need coaches and people to provide lunch for the students and volunteers!
Habitat for Humanity: Habitat for Humanity builds strength, security and self-reliance through homeownership. Join a team on the next St. Luke’s Build Day to help build and revitalize homes in East Winter Garden. The next build date is Saturday, March 2. There will also be a Neighborhood Revitalization day on Saturday, April 27.
United Women in Faith Rummage Sale: Mark your calendars for the United Women in Faith Annual Rummage Sale on Friday, March 8 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 9, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Coleman Memorial Gymnasium. Discover Fabulous Finds of gently used clothing, furniture, household items, knick-knacks, electronics, plants and much, much more! All proceeds benefit local and global missions. Blessed Treasures Gift Shop: The United Women in Faith’s (formerly the UMW) Blessed Treasures Gift Shop features handmade seasonal decorations and home décor, giftable items, as well as gently loved clothing, a variety of beautiful new jewelry, artwork, and more. They have a new room at the Blessed Treasures Gift Shop. Come by to see! All proceeds support local, state, and international missions and charities.

Prayer Labyrinth

The Prayer Labyrinth is a space for reflection, meditation, and contemplation. All ages are welcome to experience the Prayer Labyrinth, which will include a labyrinth path and prayer stations.
