Nominate by August 9 ✍🏼 No images? Click here Dear Amber, Do you know the next Tyler Prize winner? We are looking for an incredible human being or organization whose rigorous scientific work in the natural or social sciences has had a measurable and global impact on an environmental issue, policy, or practice. Bonus points if nominees show engagement with our planet’s future: the youth.
This is your opportunity to bring someone’s achievements to a much wider audience, joining the likes of Jane Goodall, Partha Dasgupta, E.O. Wilson, and Johan Rockström. Nominations must be made by a third party and will close on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 5 PM PST. This webinar will explain the nomination process, the types of nominees we’re looking for, and what makes for a successful nomination. You'll be able to ask questions of the Tyler Prize Executive Committee, the people who judge the award, live during the event. Administered by the University of Southern California, the Tyler Prize is the premier award for environmental science, environmental health and energy conferring great benefit upon humankind. Past winners include Johan Rockström, Jane Goodall, Sir Andy Haines, Gretchen C. Daily, Pavan Sukhdev, Diana Wall, Warren M. Washington and Mario Molina.
