IOWA CITY, Iowa - Kansas City Golf improved each round throughout the Hawkeye Invitational this weekend, claiming a 10th-place finish out of 16 teams. Following a disappointing seven-over first round, the Roos were able move up through the final two rounds, finishing with a three-over 855. Lucas Dutartre led the way for Kansas City, shooting under par in the first and third rounds for a tie for third place.

KANSAS CITY - Despite falling behind early Kansas City Women's Tennis (5-13, 1-5 Summit) fought valiantly against Omaha (10-13, 3-3 Summit) this afternoon, ultimately falling, 4-3. Omaha took the doubles point, but singles wins by Joana Miralles Cardona, Maria Bylina and Anastassiya Timofeyeva gave Kansas City life before the Mavericks ultimately took the match. Following the match, seniors Timofeyeva, Laura Munoz Baroja, Eva Kresovic and Tuana Tinaztepe were all honored for their commitment and dedication to Kansas City Women's Tennis.
