I don’t know how Stewie puts up with John. Annoying bastard. Loved the interviews with Shelly Yakus. Anything with Will Wittman is great and I’ve come to appreciate Kurt Vile and Drive By Truckers more, can you believe it, through this podcast. If only John would talk less about himself, sheesh.

For me it started as a young naïve musician chasing that all to illusive, hit you in the chest kick drum sound... next thing you know I’m buying some thing called a compressor... before you know it I’m a full blown addict locked away in some dark dingy basement, with padding on the walls, playing with my “equipment” all night. Love this podcast! These are my peeps and frankly that both scares me and excites me.
