    Michigan Alliance for Families provides information, support, and education for families who have children and young adults (birth to 26 years of age) who receive (or may be eligible to receive) special education services. This website can help you with finding information on special education issues as well as disability specific information.

Their perspective can not only help you navigate the system, but they can also help you be more involved in your child's education. All Michigan families are able to access an extensive collection of electronic or printed resources, informational support and referrals to local community resources. Future Planning for Aging Caregivers is here to help!The Michigan Developmental Disabilities Institute (MI-DDI) has partnered with the Dani Plan to bring you the Future Planning for Aging Caregivers (FPAC) project. The Dani Plan is a tool designed to keep track of important information about your loved one with special needs. Participants will work with a Family Support Navigator (FSN) to use the Dani Plan to create a care plan.MI-DDI is recruiting a limited number of families. Participants must be caregivers at least 50 years old and support an adult family member with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD).Participation in the project is completely FREE.
