Galloway, NJ –Stockton University (2-1-1) scored in the 68th minute to pull out a 1-1 draw against Misericordia (2-0-1) on Wednesday night.
Owen Kitch (Medford/St. Augustine Prep) tallied his second goal in as many games for the Ospreys.

After a scoreless, tense first half, the visitors broke through for the first goal with just 3:35 gone in the second stanza. Trent Wall fired a volley that hit off the bottom of the crossbar and went in for the 1-0 lead.

The Cougars stayed in front thanks to a diving save by goalkeeper Andrew Daubenspeck on a header by
Sean O'Leary (Bordentown/Bordentown) just three minutes after the goal. Stockton earned a corner kick at 67:26 and
Antonio Matos (Hammonton/St. Augustine Prep) served the ball into the box toward Kitch, where his header found the upper left corner of the net for the 1-1 tie.

The Ospreys tried to capture the game late, firing off four shots in the final 12 minutes, including a pair by
Brendan Deal (Monroe Twp./Monroe Twp.) that were on net but kicked away.

Liam Brett (Palmyra/Palmyra) made just one save in the draw. Daubenspeck faced eight shots on goal for Misericordia, making seven saves to aid the team in net.
