Two Graphic Design seniors, Christina Clemente and Jose Rosado, have earned national honors in packaging design in the annual Graphic Design USA competition.

Clemente is involved with the student chapter of AIGA, the professional association of design, where she serves as secretary. She also was part of a 2022 Designathon team working to develop new branding and collateral for the Lancaster Food Hub in a 12-hour marathon of strategic creativity. Her Graphic Design USA packaging featured earbuds.

Rosado currently is an intern with Lancaster-based FORCEpkg, a design and branding agency. His senior thesis focuses on revolutionizing the casino industry through an entirely new brand. Rosado’s contest packaging featured headphones.

Both are students in Tom Newmaster‘s Packaging Design class.

The annual Graphic Design USA competition celebrates the power of design to create an emotional link with a consumer. Increasingly, packaging design is a difference-maker in advancing brands and influencing purchasing decisions.
