On-campus COVID-19 testing cancelled on Friday, Feb. 19, due to weather

The College has made the decision to close the COVID-19 testing site on Friday, Feb. 19, in light of weather forecasts predicting heavy snow.

Members of our community who have been on campus this week and have not yet gotten a COVID-19 test should please plan accordingly.

Those who were planning to get tested on Feb. 19 can meet SUNY’s testing requirement for this week by:

  • Getting a pool test on campus on Thursday, Feb. 18, or on Monday, Feb. 22
  • Getting tested off campus and emailing results to healthservice@newpaltz.edu or faxing them to at 845-257-3415
    • Please note: Be sure to confirm that your off-campus test is a PCR test, not a rapid antigen or antibody test, as these types of tests do not meet SUNY’s standards for accuracy

Friday make-up testing is conducted by our partners at Enzo Labs on an appointment-only basis. Anyone who had an appointment to get tested on Feb. 19 should already have received a cancellation email from the Student Health Service or Enzo Labs.
