OpenInfra Summit 2022 Programming Committee Nomination Form

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT: January 19, 2022

This form is specifically for nominating yourself or someone else to serve as a Programming Committee member for the 2022 OpenInfra Summit. Nominees will be notified if they have been selected.

Availability

Programming Committee members must be available during the following dates/time commitments:

2-3 hours, January 21-February 9th: Each Programming Committee member is encouraged to schedule 2-3 hours for office hours where they can provide feedback to community members on their submissions. Each member can choose the tool that works for them (IRC, Zoom, etc) and schedule at their personal convenience.
10 hours, February 10-16 and February 22-March 4th: Initial CFP review and final selections

Role Description

Help the Summit team put together the best possible content based on your subject matter expertise
Promote the individual Tracks within your social and business networks
Review the submissions and Community voting results in your particular Track
Determine if a session is a better fit for a different Track
Determine if there are any major content gaps in your Track, and if so, potentially solicit additional speakers directly
Ensure diversity of speakers and companies represented in your Track
Avoid vendor sales pitches, focusing more on real-world user stories and technical, in-the-trenches experiences
Identify which submissions would make good content for OpenInfra Live, the virtual show hosted by the OpenInfra Foundation that encourages live questions from a global audience
