SUNY New Paltz Wellness and Recreation Hosts Virtual Stress Busters Week

New Paltz, NY — During finals week, the State University of New York at New Paltz Athletics, Wellness and Recreation in conjunction with the Office of Student Affairs has put together a "#NPStressBusters" week to help cope with stress during exams.
 
The remaining schedule includes:

Wednesday, May 13:

12:00 PM - Yoga
Taught by Traci at 12 p.m.
Practitioners move closer to achieving vibrant health through exercises that focus on balance, effort, awareness, and breath. All you need is a soft spot to sit!

10:00 AM - Workshop: Crisis Cyclone: Regain Control During Uncertainty
Throughout the last two months, our lives have been seriously impacted. With the drastic and sudden change in routine, it is easy for us to become overwhelmed with uncertainty. In this talk, we will identify the thoughts and emotions that are holding us back during this pandemic, and how to change our mindset. By changing our mindset, we enable ourselves to feel more confident and in control.
