The Stockton University field hockey team posted eight wins against eight losses in 2021, with half of the 16 games decided by one goal including three that went to overtime or shootout. The defensive-minded squad held seven opponents to one goal or less. Twelve different players saw action in all 16 contests and seven freshmen played in at least 10 games.

Senior
Gianna Morganti led the offense with 13 goals (T-6th in NJAC) and three assists for 29 points (8th in NJAC) during the season. Three of her tallies were game winners (T-10th in NJAC). Morganti gathered postseason accolades with NJAC First Team and NFHCA All-Region Second Team selection, the seventh Osprey to achieve that status.

Morganti was named NJAC Offensive Player of the Week once for her play. Her 13 goals tied for fourth in a season at Stockton and 29 points tied for fifth in a season. After transferring to Stockton from Rider in 2019, Morganti started all 39 games with 25 goals, third in program history, and seven helpers for 57 points, which is fourth all-time at Stockton.

Freshman
Alexandria Palumbo burst onto the scene with an outstanding rookie campaign. Palumbo scored 10 goals for 20 points, both second on the team behind Morganti. She also tied for the team lead and fourth in the NJAC with three defensive saves.

Palumbo was named NJAC Rookie of the Week once and garnered an NFHCA All-Region Second Team honor, becoming the eighth Stockton player to join that illustrious club with Morganti. She also was an NJAC First Team selection.

Madison Maguire and
Tori Wilson added seven goals each, with Maguire tying Morganti for the team lead with a trio of game-winning markers. Senior
Madison Dancisin topped the squad with five assists to go with one goal for seven points.
Jenna Fiorito added a pair of goals to the offense.

Freshman
Autumn Hunter played in every game and tallied one goal and two assists for four points. Senior
Gracee Roberts also saw action in all 16 contests with 14 starts. Roberts made her first career goal a memorable one as it came on a penalty stroke in overtime that gave the Ospreys a 4-3 win over FDU-Florham.

Junior back
Rhian Freire was selected NJAC Honorable Mention for her strong defensive play. Freshman
Makenna LeHenaff tied Palumbo for the team lead and fourth in the NJAC with three defensive saves while
Kelsey Andrus contributed two defensive saves. Freire, LeHenaff and Andrus joined Morganti and Dancisin as the five Ospreys to start all 16 games.

Freshman
Alley Harris and sophomore
Kylie Mitchell shared the netminding duties this season, with each seeing action in 11 games. Mitchell made seven starts and played 508 minutes, registering a 1.42 goals against average 45 saves and a .789 save percentage that was second in the NJAC. The sophomore also posted a pair of shutouts during the season.

Harris started nine times and posted a 1.86 goals against average, 44 saves and a .746 save percentage in 484 minutes played. The newcomer also earned her first career shutout against Montclair State on October 23.
