Richard Joseph Hanson, a teacher at the University of Wisconsin — Whitewater, Rock County campus in Janesville, has been named Beloit Rotary Teacher of the Month.

Hanson teaches philosophy, religious studies and women’s and genders studies at UW — Whitewater.
