Contributed Session Submission Details

The deadline for contributed session is now closed.  We are currently in the review process and will notify all authors/presenters of their abstract status by the end of March 2020.

Submissions from a broad range of perspectives are encouraged. The following list provides an indication of the methodological topics and application areas that have been covered at previous conferences and will be covered at the upcoming conference:

All abstracts must be submitted online. No other forms of abstracts are permissible.

Each abstract submission must include the title, list of authors and author affiliations, and abstract, with each submission having a maximum length of 2,500 characters. In the abstract submission process, authors are requested to select up to three methodological topics and one application area from the list above that are most relevant to the abstract. The number of oral abstract submissions with the same presenting author is limited to one.

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the IBC 2020 International Program Committee, and presenting authors will be informed of the status of their abstract (oral presentation, poster presentation, rejection) by February 2020.

All accepted contributed oral presentations will be assigned to a 12-minute slot within a particular scientific session, with each session lasting 90 minutes, and therefore containing six oral presentations and time for discussion. All poster presentations will also be allocated to a particular scientific poster session. Presenting authors are expected to be present at their posters.

All presenting authors must have registered for the conference by 31 May 2020 for their presentation to be included in the conference program. Please note that the conference’s Early Bird Registration deadline is, 16 April 2020.

Following on from the success of the awards made at the last IBC, we will again be awarding prizes for the Best Student Oral Presentation(s) and the Best Poster Presentation(s).

Click here to submit an abstract on or before 19 January 2020.
