2021 Postgraduate & Early Career Researcher Conference

2021 ANZSOC Postgraduate & Early Career Researcher Conference – ONLINE

The 2021 ANZSOC Postgraduate & Early Career Researcher Conference (PECRC) will be held online from 9am-12.00pm AEST on Tuesday 7 December. Attendees will join a series of professional development and mentoring workshops. The schedule for the day will be:

  • 9am – Publishing during your PhD
    Professor Tara McGee
  • 10am – Career Options and Employability
Dr Kelly Hine and Dr Madeline Ulbrick
  • 11am – Engaging with the Media
Associate Professor Kate Fitz-Gibbon and Caitlin Carey
  • 12pm – Conference wrap-up and close

You can register for this free event here.

Registered attendees will be emailed a link in advance of the event to join a Zoom session on the day.

The organising committee invites state-based representatives to organise local events on campus in the afternoon. These could include lightning talk sessions, longer presentations, and post-conference social events. This hybrid model will allow for a common professional development program, while also giving postgraduate candidates and ECRs the opportunity to present in person and socialise with their peers.

We look forward to seeing you online at the 2021 PECRC.
