ECO393-02 Fundamentals of Sustainable Policy I

Introduction to basic concepts and theories in environmental and ecological economics. Examination of current structures that reproduce a set of central issues, such as pollution, water shortages, and global warming. Analysis and evaluation of measures that aim to bring in practice solutions and insert environmental considerations into economics policies, business and governmental institutions, and into economic thinking and modeling.

This is a two week intensive course and will be meeting from July 24th to August 5th.
