REAL D Community Engagement Meeting (Salem)

Description

The Oregon Health Authority Office of Equity and Inclusion is asking for your help in planning for the implementation of the Oregon House Bill 2134 for the collection of race, ethnicity, language and disability (REAL D) demographic data.

At this meeting participants will be asked to provide information on their data collection and analysis needs and also provide feedback/insight on the new data standards and categories.

Please ensure that you provide as much information as possible with your registration for any language, dietary, or accessibility needs. This event will also be scent/fragrance free so please plan accordingly.

Who we are looking for:

  • Staff from community based organizations who use data for research, reports, or other identified needs

  • Individuals impacted by new categories for race, ethnicity, language, and disability status under REAL D implementation

  • Data analysts from community organizations, universities, and local government who use or desire to use race, ethnicity, language and disability data to promote the health of communities
