NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 17, 2021)—For the final weeks of Picasso. Figures, the Frist Art Museum will add Mondays in April to its operating schedule. The new dates are April 5, 12, 19, and 26. Non-refundable advance timed entry tickets are required and available here. Tickets purchased include entry into all current exhibitions on view, including Picasso. Figures.

“Attendance over the last month has been very strong,” says Frist Art Museum Executive Director and CEO Dr. Susan H. Edwards. “We are delighted to be able to add back these Mondays by popular demand. With increased vaccination rates and our wonderful upcoming exhibitions, we are optimistic that sustained attendance will allow us to continue our path back to resuming our full seven-day operating schedule.”

The Martin ArtQuest® Gallery (MAQ) will also be open on Mondays in April from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. MAQ tickets are free and issued on a first-come, first-served basis by request upon arrival. The gift shop will be open on Mondays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Masks are required for all who are able to wear them safely (ages two and older). The Frist Art Museum occupies a structure leased from the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency and is in compliance with Mayor Cooper’s Executive Order 7, which requires all people in government buildings to wear masks. Guests must bring their own masks; the Frist will not provide them for visitors.
