Yesterday, September 6th, was a memorable day for David Lauderdale, his family, and The Foundation for Educational Excellence. We formally recognized David as t...he 🏆 2022 Peggy May Inspiration Award 🏆 honoree. The award was presented by board members, Linda Navorska, Deborah Colella and Lisa Carroll, Chair for the Foundation for Educational Excellence.
Throughout his career over many decades, David has been an advocate for the people of our community – most often evident through his inspirational writing that has touched the lives of so many in the Lowcountry. 👏 Thank you, David Lauderdale! 👏
We also shared a plaque with a list of all the Peggy May Inspiration Award Honorees with Dr. Rodriguez, B.C.S.D. School Superintendent to be displayed in the district office.
Finally, we want to thank the Hilton Head-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce Business Education Partnership Committee for providing your support and coordination for the location. It was a meaningful and heartwarming day for all involved, and definitely will not be forgotten.
