Recreational Trails Program (Non-Motorized) Workshop

The California Department of Parks and Recreation Office of Grants and Local Services invites you to attend our Recreational Trails Program (Non-Motorized) Workshop through Microsoft Teams on the following dates:

• Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

• Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

• Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

• Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

Please read the directions for Microsoft Teams below prior to the webinar:

To join the webinar, click the link provided in the emails from Eventbrite or in the calendar invite sent from OGALS@parks.ca.gov

Microsoft Teams will open through either a downloaded application or default internet browser.

Once the join screen has loaded, participants can either choose “Join Now” from their computer or click on the Phone Audio option to join via phone.

NOTE: All participants will be placed in a lobby prior to the workshop start

Participants joining by phone:

The participant will need to enter in their phone number if using the Phone Audio option for Teams to call them directly into the meeting

OR

Participants can email a direct line phone number to OGALS@parks.ca.gov to be called directly into the meeting

All participants joining by phone will be placed on mute as soon as the call connects

Press *6 to mute/unmute the line. Please be aware that there is a slight delay before connection and a participant can speak unmuted

For the duration of the webinar, please plan to:

Keep your device on mute

Ask questions using the chat function or raise hand feature

The chat function is found on the control bar by clicking the Word Bubble icon. Once the chat icon is clicked, the chat should show up on the right side of the screen

If a participant cannot access the chat feature, they should exit the workshop and reenter
