Smokey Brights is a story of love and pizza. Front people Kim West (vocal/keys) and Ryan Devlin (vocals/guitars) met while slinging pies at a restaurant in college. They became friends, then fell in love, then starting singing together. Along with fellow pizza slinger Nick Krivchenia (drums), they started a band. Ten years later, they're one of the Pacific Northwest's most beloved live acts. With bassist Luke Ragnar, the band has found an unmistakable sound together: rich three part harmonies atop a butt shaking rhythm section, fuzzed out guitars and neon synths, all in service of songs American Songwriter describes as "thoughtful, expertly crafted, and touch your heart in the way only a best friend can.” Smokeys are on their fourth full length, "Levitator." Released via Austin TX label Nine Mile Records, "Levitator" is a motivational mix tape for our collective crisis of confidence. It's a musical, magical incantation cast to lift off and dance with the cosmos.
