So many of you have asked who wrote #LetYourHorsesRun, so let’s talk backstory for this song! Jesse Frasure (@telemitry) is an absolute musical genius and one of the best songwriters in the business and writes out of Nashville! I always feel excited to have the great honor not only calling this man my friend but to get to collab and write together!

He’s been a long time friend of mine, and we’ve created some incredible songs together. This is the first time we have a single together, but I gotta tell ya, we really found something magical with this song. So many of the great lyrics in this song came from Jesse’s brain to his pen to the paper, and so many of the great production elements — including the drum beat that sounds like thunderous galloping — was Jesse’s doing.

Within only a few hours I knew, and I think he knew too, that this song was reeeeeeallly special. Tipin’ the ol’ cowboy hat to you, Jesse. Love ya pal!
