In appreciation for all you do for UT Arlington, President Cowley is authorizing an extra day off during the winter break so you can enjoy additional time with your loved ones.

All UTA offices are authorized to close on Monday, Dec. 23. The University will resume normal operations on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025.

Given the diversity of work across campus, final decisions about the additional day off will be made at the department and unit levels. Employees and supervisors should work together to ensure operational continuity and availability of student support services, while also taking advantage of this opportunity to the fullest extent possible.

Campus Recreation, UTA Libraries, the University Center and Commons, Dining Services, and Parking and Transportation Services will post their service hours for the upcoming holiday break. Any additional operations updates will be shared via MavWire.
