UT Health Science Center is participating in the American Heart Association Mid-South Heart Walk on Sunday, September 29!
Did you know heart disease is still the number one cause of death in America? But a great amount of it is preventable or treatable. Our own Dr. Isaac Rhea, Assistant Professor of Cardiology, has shared some important insights with us.

The AHA Heart Walk will help spread awareness and raise funding to further educate and research this complicated disease so that people may live longer and feel better.
What’s your reason to walk? Tell us your why on the Mid-South Heart Walk banner in the Madison Plaza, located on the concourse level at the end of the center stairs.
