How to Help

The Florida Disaster Fund is the State of Florida’s official private fund established to assist Florida’s communities as they respond to and recover during times of emergency or disaster. In partnership with the public sector, private sector and other non-governmental organizations, the Florida Disaster Fund supports response and recovery activities.

Hope Florida – A Pathway to Prosperity, spearheaded by First Lady DeSantis and implemented by the Florida Department of Children and Families, has been expanded to individuals and families devastated by Hurricane Ian. The expansion is focused on disaster recovery assistance and leverages Hope Navigators and volunteers who are trained in recognizing the signs of stress and will refer individuals to crisis counseling support if needed. To speak to a Hope Navigator, call 850-300-HOPE.
