Maverick students:
All UTA offices are authorized to close on Monday, Dec. 23, for an early start to the winter break. The University will resume normal operations on Jan. 2, 2025, and the first day of classes is Jan. 13.
The campus will operate with modified hours over winter break. Please check the websites for Campus Recreation, UTA Libraries, the University Center and Commons, Dining Services, and Parking and Transportation Services, which will post their updated service hours. Any additional updates will be shared via TrailBlazer.
Students can review the Health Services website for emergency and after-hours medical resources. Please note: The last day to pick up prescriptions and refills from the health center pharmacy is Dec. 20.
The holidays can sometimes be stressful. For students who wish to talk with someone over the break, UTA offers an array of supportive resources, including TimelyCare, which offers on-demand emotional support and appointment-based counseling, and Mavs Talk, a 24-hour crisis line, at 817-272-TALK (8255)
Happy holidays, enjoy the long winter break, and congratulations on another great semester in Maverick Country!
