Government Affairs are pleased to announce the creation of a GA platform to support the KAUST reopening plan. This platform will collect the name and KAUST ID number from people entering KAUST through the gates which will be used to support KAUST’s testing program. The collected data does not track location information.

Effective Sunday, July 5, everybody entering the KAUST gates will need to pre-register using the link or QR code and show the generated personalized QR code to the Security team when entering KAUST. This will help gather statistics about people entering KAUST, helping to inform KC3 decisions and support the KAUST testing program.

Please note that community members will no longer need to inform the COVID-19 Operations Hub if they are planning to exit the KAUST gates.

Additional details about the changes to gate access will be shared in tomorrow’s COVID-19 Advisory and campus news.

Please find the steps to pre-register your entry back to KAUST:

  1. Use this link or scan the QR code with your smart phone.
  2. Enter your KAUST ID (required). Please note: valid for a temporary period.
  3. Generate a QR code for one-time only entry. The QR code does not require an Internet connection to be shown and read.
  4. Security reads the QR code and identifes the individual and gives access to KAUST.
