THE HERITAGE CLOTHING COLLABORATION

Help us help those most vulnerable in the Mother City this Heritage Day!

​

Here in South Africa, there is a wide divide between the "haves" and "have-nots", but we are all one people. And what better day to remind ourselves to keep helping those around us and come together as a country than Heritage Day?

​

So we’re taking to the streets to create a pop up shop for the homeless.

Made just out of posters; we hang up donated clothes and drop shoes into boxes, then the homeless have the opportunity to "Shop" around for what they need with dignity!

​

We will be setting up outside the Hope Exchange on Roeland Street, in the heart of the Mother City, to make it easily accessible for those we aim to help!

​

We're looking for all donations, big or small, to help us fill our Store. From blankets to hoodies, shoes and jeans, to baby clothes and everything in between... We'll take them all!

​

We can collect, or you can drop off at any of our Collection Points, or come down on the day and Help Out and Hang Up, and meet those whose lives you will be improving with the simple act of giving!

​

Let's warm up the Mother City this Winter, and celebrate our wonderful people this Heritage Day!

Their founder, Danny, started Ladles of Love with one small soup kitchen serving soup to the homeless once a week on St. Georges Mall. Today, we serve hundreds of thousands of vulnerable children and families from our depots throughout the Cape region.
 
To reach further, be more sustainable, and help communities support themselves, we now work to assist a number of non-profit organisations, community projects, and schools across the peninsula, and establish community kitchens where they are needed most.

Their foundation is about more than providing meals. It’s about dignity, respect, and creating the kind of world we all want to live in.
