Viewpoint: Let Indiana legislators know you value the state's remaining wetlands

Acre for acre, itβs hard to beat wetlands when it comes to the benefits they provide to us β filtration of groundwater, protection from floods and habitat for a wide variety of plants and animals. Unfortunately, 85% of the wetlands that were formerly present when Indiana became a state 200 years ago β and those benefits β have been lost. Now, recent legislation under consideration by the Indiana House of Representatives threatens to further those losses.
