The fully ABET accredited Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health Management (OSHM) degree at Grand Valley is designed to equip individuals with the essential skills for entry-level positions in safety management, industrial hygiene, and environmental protection, while concurrently laying the groundwork for professional certification. The demand for proficient, fully-qualified safety professionals is on the rise in Michigan and across the nation.
“I truly enjoyed the in-field experience incorporated into each of the courses; from conducting air monitoring at Michigan Turkey, ergonomic assessments at Comprenew Recycling, to writing visitor programs at Dennen Steel.”
