♻️ Big news for Buckhead sustainability! 🌱 Livable Buckhead has officially launched #BuckheadCOMPOSTS, a groundbreaking program that will bring composting to 15 multifamily communities in Buckhead, thanks to a grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Overseen by our Sustainability Manager, Helen Petersen, this initiative provides one year of free composting service with CompostNow, along with fun monthly challenges, community events, and prizes to keep engagement high. The impact? 🚧 Important Update for Buckhead Commuters: Traffic Changes on Piedmont Road 🚧 Starting Monday, August 18, significant traffic changes on Piedmont Road between Lenox Road and Peachtree Road will facilitate a major construction project for roadway improvements. This will reduce Piedmont to two lanes in each direction for three months. The enhancements include widening the road, introducing granite curbs and adding a new walking path. Though this promises a better future for our commutes, short-term disruptions are expected. We encourage utilizing alternatives like MARTA, carpools and the Buc.
