Applications for the CI2 Program for 2023-2024 are due by August 1, 2023.
Selection Criteria
Selection criteria for the program include:
- Commitment to and aptitude for an academic research career
- Prior research success
- A demonstrated aptitude for excellence in research and/or service
- Identification of an appropriate mentor
- Identification of an appropriate project
Particular attention will be given to enhancing the diversity of scholars.
Application Process
In order to be considered for the program, applicants must complete the following requirements:
- Completed application form: PDF Application
- Letter from mentor stating support for candidate
- Candidate's CV (in Vanderbilt format)
- Career goals statement (up to one page describing the candidate's career goal, and how this project helps the candidate achieve the goal)
- A two-to-three-page description of the project (details provided in the application)
