Two people are dead and a third is recovering after they were shot Sunday at a Royal Farms in Essex by a man who killed himself and his parents, Baltimore County police said.A preliminary investigation indicates Joshua Green, 27, shot three people at the Royal Farms on Middleborough Road in Essex just before 7 a.m. Sunday. Two victims died at the scene and a third is recovering at a hospital.At a press conference Monday, Police Chief Melissa Hyatt said Green drove to the Royal Farms and used his car to intentionally block in a woman who was sitting in her car. Police said Green went to the woman's window and shot and killed her. She has been identified as Alpha Smith, 62.Police say Green then walked into the Royal Farms and approached the register, where he encountered a customer, Silvesta Daye Jr., 43.Green then shot and killed Daye before turning the gun to 22-year-old employee Joshua Robinson, who was was shot in the leg. He is now in stable condition.Detectives said Green left the store and set his apartment on fire. Police said officers later found his body outside his apartment complex, saying he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.Detectives went to the Phoenix-area home of Green's parents to identify him as the next-of-kin, where they found the two deceased. Both parents -- Douglas Green, 58, and Olivia Green, 62 -- appeared to have been shot, police said.Detectives said all three incidents are connected and they are not searching for any additional suspects.Police have not identified as motive. Police say Green has no criminal record and that the gun recovered was legally purchased.
