Review: Sarah Ross back with empowering new single ‘Doin’ Just Fine’ (Includes first-hand account)

After a brief hiatus, Ross is back stronger than ever with her empowering new single, “Doin’ Just Fine.” The song was co-penned by Ross, as well as David Fanning and Curt Gibbs. It deals with rising up and moving on after a love lost. It has an optimistic message to it. Ross’ new EP will come out early next year

“Yeah I’m doing just fine, hey, ever since you walked away. Won’t let my heart break, no, you can’t bring me down,” Ross sings in the tune’s catchy chorus.

Throughout her career in country music, Ross has accumulated over 10 million streams of her debut EP, Calm Before the Storm. The EP charted on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, and her music video from that album was featured on both CMT (Country Music Television) and GAC (Great American Country); moreover, it premiered on Rolling Stone Country.
Ross was also a contestant on the 12th season of the reality singing competition, American Idol.
