Captured: Gadson Faces For 3 Attempted Murders

The Eden's Bar and Grill parking lot was the scene of the violent crime, the criminal complaint states.

JOLIET, IL - One week ago, Alonzo Gadson, a Joliet man with a long criminal rap sheet pulled out a gun and fired bullets into the mouth of one man, according to Joliet Police. Gadson shot a second man in the back, he shot a third man in the knee, and then he ran off and went into hiding before several squad cars arrived, according to Joliet police. According to the criminal complaint, the violence occurred in the parking lot of Eden's Bar and Grill, the bar in the 900 block of Joliet's Gardner Street near Nowell Park.

One gunshot victim was from New Lenox, two other gunshot victims lived in Crest Hill, all were in their 30s. On Friday afternoon, June 29, the Joliet Police Department put Gadson, 37, in custody. Will County Jail logs show that Gadson was processed at the county detention facility, where he has been several times over the years including last year when he was arrested in a cocaine case.

Although Gadson's ties are in Joliet, jail logs now indicated he was currently living in Naperville in the 100 block of Testa Drive apartments.
