Join the University of Utah to celebrate its graduates at the University Commencement ceremony on Thursday, May 2 at 6:00 p.m. MDT at the Jon M. Huntsman Center. This in-person gathering honors graduating students from our colleges and schools across campus together during this university-wide event.
The University Commencement ceremony broadly honors the Class of 2024 as a whole. Graduates and attendees can anticipate words of congratulations from university administrators and students leaders; hear keynotes from the Commencement Speakers; applaud honorary degree recipients; receive a welcome from the Office of Alumni Relations; and wrap up the event by singing the University of Utah fight song in unison one last time as a student. All graduates are encouraged to participate in the University Commencement ceremony as the University of Utah commends this milestone achievement in students’ lives.
