The Alray Scholars Program provides scholarships, mentoring, and career counseling to

graduates of Boston Public Schools who are returning to college after having suffered a

setback on their first try. We commit to supporting scholars through graduation.

• Graduated from a Boston public high school or a Boston charter high school, or received a GED after

attending one of these schools, or graduated from the Metco program while residing in Boston

• Enrolled and started a college, trade school, or vocational program after completing high school

• Left post-secondary educational program without completing due to family, personal, or educational

reasons

• Used time away from educational program productively, such as being involved in community,

school, and/or work activities

1-TO-1 MENTORING

SUPPORT

Each scholar is paired with

a dedicated volunteer

mentor who is there through

graduation day to provide support.

CAREER COUNSELING

Alray Scholars receive

individualized career

counseling, preparing

them to land a great job

and make the most of their

hard-earned degree.
