All We Can Save:

Truth, Courage, and Solutions for the Climate Crisis

This anthology of essays uplifts the voices of 60 women climate leaders from across the United States and also features artwork and poetry.  This book is part of a "feminist climate renaissance" that seeks to "nurture a welcoming, connected, and leaderful climate community rooted in the work and wisdom of women to grow a life-giving future."
All We Can Save features an essay by SUNY New Paltz alumni Emily Atkin (2011 ~ Journalism & Political Science) of Heated, a daily newsletter dedicated to original accountability reporting and analysis on the climate crisis.
We will meet up virtually on Wednesdays during July on the following dates:
  • Wednesday, July 7 at 12 noon
  • Wednesday, July 14 at 12 noon

Grant Funding for Climate Pedagogy Across the Disciplines

NYSERDA, the New York State Energy, Research, and Development Authority, has grant funding available to support "clean energy"/climate curriculum development.
A group of academic faculty is forming to develop an interdisciplinary approach to climate pedagogy professional development for academic faculty.  Would you like to join this interdisciplinary team?  Some faculty members have interests in facilitating this conversation across all schools and others are interested in forwarding this conversation in their own school.
To join in these discussions, email sustainability@newpaltz.edu.
