Public Health reports 34 new COVID-19 cases and 34 additional recoveries

The Kern County Public Health Department reported 34 additional positive COVID-19 cases and 34 more recoveries.

This brings the current total to 1,615 cases, including the 10 non-residents cases, and 1,068 recoveries.

And there are currently 477 cases who are isolating at home and 35 cases who are isolated in a hospital.

Currently males makeup 49.2% of the cases and women are 50.8%. While the top three ethnicity/race groups are Hispanics with 66.2%, White with 15.9% , and unknown with 9%.

The current totals from Public Health:

  • 1,605 total cases among Kern Residents
  • 10 positive cases of non-Kern residents
  • 1,068 recovered residents
  • 25 COVID-19 related deaths
  • 14,567 negative test results
  • 967 pending tests results
