Bruce Lee was the Green Hornet's sidekick

The Green Hornet was originally a radio drama that started in 1936. When the show made it to TV in 1966, Bruce Lee starred as Kato, the Green Hornet's sidekick.

Bruce Lee helped choreograph the fight scenes and taught co-star Van Williams the fight moves you see on the show. Williams and Lee became friends during the filming of the series. Williams pushed to get Lee more screen time and lines as a result of their friendship.

Little known fact: The show's producer, William Dozier, narrated The Green Hornet. He was also the narrator for Batman, which was airing at the same time.
